World Record Hunting - Duck Calling Championship

The World Duck Calling Championship is a very famous competition usually held in Stuttgart, Arkansas in the United States. The competition has been around for decades and has attracted participants from all over the world. Participants demonstrate their skills by imitating the call of a duck and the competition is often considered an expression of tradition and craftsmanship.

 

The first National Duck Calling was held on the streets of Stuttgart, Arkansas on November 24th, 1936. The competition is related to the Arkansas Rice Carnival and was started by Thad McCollum of Stuttgart. Subsequently, a three-person duck calling committee was set up to organize the event. There were 17 contestants in the first Duck Calling Championship. Duck Calling Championship has grown in size and influence from initial physical prizes of a few dollars to winner bonus up to $5,000 today.

 

There was once a duck calling learning event that attracted more than 3,000 participants, setting a world record for "the most people learn duck calling.

 

This competition has multiple categories covering players of different age groups and levels. Judging criteria are usually based on the quality, accuracy, rhythm, and creativity of the contestant's voice. This competition attracts a large number of enthusiasts and professional players of bird calls, becoming a high-profile event. Since 1936, the Duck Calling Championship has become a symbol of tradition and skill.
